Kristen Stewart Admits To Cheating On Robert Pattinson

July 26, 2012

Kristen Stewart has admitted cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders by issuing a public apology.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” the actress said in a statement to People.

“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

The actress, 22, and the director, 41 were photographed kissing on July 17 in LA.

Just a few days beforehand Rob, 26, and Kristen were hanging out at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego.

Sanders is married to actress-model Liberty Ross, who played Stewart’s mother in the film. The couple have two children. The director issued a statement today as well:

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” the director said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

Do you think Kristen and Robert can move on from this cheating scandal?
