Want to hook that guy for good? Lana Vidler shows us how to catch a man in three courses thank to her new book “Meals Men Love”.
Serves 4 (so you’ll have left over for the next night!)
500g beef mince
1 1/2 cups of fresh mushrooms
1 small brown onion finely diced
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 1/2 cups diced herbed tomatoes
1 packet (160g) cheese sauce, pre-bought
7 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup thickened cream
1 packet (250g) instant lasagne sheets
Cook mince in large fry pan over medium-heat for five minutes or until browned. Add mushrooms, onion, garlic and tomatoes. Bring to the boil for three minutes and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for one hour.
Preheat over to 160 degree Celsius. Mix cheese sauce, Parmesan cheese and three tablespoons of cream.
In a baking dish place a third of the lasagne sheets, top with half the meat mix then half the cheese sauce to completely cover. Repeat. Place remaining sheets on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Spread over remaining cream. Return to over for 10 minutes.
