Luxe Or Less: Tinted Moisturisers

A tinted moisturiser is ideal for a light to medium coverage that hydrates the skin, but which ones are the best?

Editor’s favourite

Youngblood Moisture Tint

My favourite tinted moisturiser is medium coverage but still feels light as air. The shade Natural is perfect for light to medium skin tone and leaves a gorgeous glow-from-within finish. Why I love it so much is that it doesn’t settle into fine lines, and it’s packed with sea minerals to nourish the skin.

Best natural coverage

Dove Essential Nutrients Tinted Moisturiser

SheSaid’s Lifestyle Manager Anna swears by Dove Tinted Moisturiser with SPF15. It glides onto your skin, covering all those summer freckles but doesn’t feel thick and cakey.

RRP $9.39. Find out more at

Best for dry skin

Invisible Zinc Tined Moisturiser

One of our favourite sunscreens also comes in a tinted moisturiser and it’s ideal for dry skin types. The SPF30+ is one of the highest you’ll find in a tinted moisturiser and the light coverage is great for a natural but polished finish.

RRP $32.00. Buy online at

Best anti-ageing tinted moisturiser

Nivea Visage Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Tinted Day Cream

This tinted day cream gives a lovely healthy-looking coverage while also hydrates the skin. Q10 is one of my favourite ingredients, a powerful antioxidant that smoothes wrinkles.
