Masterclass Mondays: Polished Makeup In 5 Minutes
Hollywood makeup artist Leslie Graham has worked with some of the world’s most beautiful faces, from Tyra Banks to Rachel Hunter. She shows us how to achieve a gorgeous, polished makeup in just 5 minutes!
Each step is designed for a one-minute application.
Step 1 Got dark circles? Be sure to dot on a concealer first. It should be 1-2 shades lighter to cover any blue hue.
Suggestion: Napoleon Perdis Mighty Concealer Pen.
Step 2 Apply a mineral foundation. With a colour matching your skin tone and big round brush use a loose or pressed mineral foundation powder in circular motions all over your face. Start in the area that needs the most coverage. For extra coverage go back over the area in the same circular motion.
Suggestion: Bare Minerals Mineral Foundations or Jane Iredale mineral foundation.
Step 3 Sweep a cream colour onto the contour of your eye – this will give you added definition . With the right product you can have smooth, crease-free, quick and easy lasting eye colour.
Suggestion: MAC Paints in neutral tones like ‘Sublime’, “Untitled’, or ‘Bamboom’.
Step 4 Mascara. Use a curler for a nice, natural lift and give yourself a healthy coat of lash glam! No clumps…please!
Suggestion: Revlon “Grow Luscious” Mascara.
Step 5 Choose a stain in a colour that will work for cheeks and lips for a quick pop of colour. Dot it on and blend before drying.
Suggestion: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstain.
