Meanwhile, Edie Falcowon her third Best Dramatic Actress Emmy for her work on The Sopranos. She when asked to comment on The West Wing?s win said, ?I don?t know. I don?t know how this stuff works.?
Everybody Loves Raymond finally took out the much coveted Best Comedy award for the first time and Doris Roberts took home an Emmy for the third time as Ray Romano?s mother. Brad Garrett, who plays Ray?s brother in the hit comedy took home his second Emmy for his supporting role in the series.
Good news finally for Debra Messing of Will & Grace as she finally broke the drought and won her first Emmy for the show after being the bridesmaid for the past four years. “It’s so shocking and so amazing,” Ms. Messing said. “It’s something I never imagined for myself. This is otherworldly. I’ve never allowed myself the ability to dream this far.”
