Mr Nice Guy George Clooney

Don’t you want to take him home to mum?!
George Clooney has gone out of his way to apologise to residents of the Italian village he and co-stars have been calling home during the filming of Ocean?s Twelve. The actor has a villa in the picturesque community of Laglio, and residents were reportedly put out that scenes were filmed in George?s holiday location. On Thursday morning, inhabitants woke to find a letter in English with Italian translation on their doorsteps. “I am writing to say thank you for accepting me into your community,” penned the star. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience that I have brought, but I just want to live in the fabulous village of Laglio and walk on its beautiful streets.” The disruption was no doubt more from the many fans who flocked the village, hoping to catch a glimpse of Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julia Roberts or George himself. The invasion meant streets around the villa had to be closed and sailing was restricted on nearby Lake Como.

Let’s hope this career is more successful
Trendy Posh Spice
Victoria Beckham has moved on from singing into the world of fashion. The 30-year-old mum has obviously decided to cut her losses, telling the British press, “I mean, it wasn’t as if I was the best singer”. Instead, the pregnant star has decided to enter the world of fashion and is designing a trendy denim label. The Rock and Republic range includes maternity jeans, a miniskirt and T-shirts and will debut at Los Angeles fashion week this Friday. A spokewoman for the former Spice Girl says, “This is the start of a new phase in Victoria’s career, combining two things she loves – business and fashion. She’s going to be more behind the scenes, but she is very excited.”

Rebecca Loos
The Diary of Rebecca Loos
Rebecca Loos is writing her very own Bridget Jones-esque journal. The former PA, famous for reportedly having an affair with David Beckham, is currently writing the work of fiction, but says the book isn?t ?about the whole David thing, not about me at all actually… It?s a fictional, diary style, Bridget Jones sort of thing ? only much sexier.? Apparently Rebecca wants to be famous for more than her racy affairs. ?I?ve always loved writing. My grandfather was a writer and I?ve had the idea for a while. I?m in the position to do it now so I really want to get on and do it.?
