Nigella Lawson Moves Out Following Choking Incident
Nigella Lawson has taken her children – and her bags – and moved out of the London home she shares with husband Charles Saatchi, two weeks after photos showed him choking her in public.
A rep for Lawson has confirmed that she and her children have moved out and are currently staying at her sister’s in nearby Mayfair.
Movers were seen wheeling boxes labeled “Nigella” as well as cookware, toys and paintings away from the couple’s home in Chelsea. Lawson has also been seen not wearing her wedding ring.
The domestic goddess has not filed charges against her husband, although the advertising executive received a police caution from Scotland Yard.
Despite saying that putting his hands around Nigella’s throat was nothing more than a “playful tiff”, Saatchi later claimed: “even domestic goddesses sometimes have a bit of snot in their nose. I was trying to fish it out.”
