Editor, Melissa, went to the launch of beauty brand Nougat London last week and went overboard on cupcakes and hand cream.
When I walked into the launch of Nougat London last Thursday in Potts Point, Sydney, I thought I had died and gone to Girl Heaven. Imagine a table of pink champagne, cupcakes, chicken sandwiches (with the crusts cut off) and a table laden with the most decadent, indulgent, pretty beauty products you could imagine.
There was truffle bath bombs, foaming body mousse, luxe body wash, velvety hand cream, sensuous candles, lush lip balms, vintage mirror compacts, sugar scrubs, gorgeous gift sets and more.
Nougat is a favourite fashion brand amongst our London friends and has extended to beauty, bath, body and home collections more recently. Their philosophy is to use only the finest ingredients, not test on animals and offer a calming spa experience in your own home.
There are two distinct fragrances used throughout the range – rose and fig and pink cedar which are distinguished by the packaging. Pink for rose and green for fig. Both smell divine but I favoured the fig.
The products which range in price, but average around the $30 mark, will be available in David Jones in October, just in time for your Christmas shopping. Keep an eye out for this brand, I have a feeling it’s going to be big!
