There aren’t many people in this world who don’t enjoy a delicious juicy mango. There are however, a lot of people who cringe at the thought of chocking back a sludge shade smoothie.
Thankfully, health nut Sally Obermeder has worked out how to get your greens without feeling like you just drank pond scum. And it includes adding lots of fresh mango. Straight from the Australian TV presenter turned smoothie chef’s new book, Super Green Smoothies, this green smoothie is packed full of nutrients and actually (seriously) tastes good. We promise.
Mango green smoothie recipe
- 90g (3 1/4 oz / 2 cups) baby spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 185g (6 1/2 oz / 1 cup) chopped mango
- 250ml vanilla almond milk or soy milk
1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Voila! A healthy, tasty smoothy in seconds!
