1. Anastasia Beverly Hills – Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette

Hello to the perfect eyeshadow palette! These 14 shades, which range from neutral to berry tones, are stunning on every skin tone and bring a modern look for both day and night. Shop: Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette, $45

2. Tarte – Tartelette™ In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette

This made our list of best Sephora eyeshadows because of its long-wearing pressed powder formulation in a palette featuring 12 of your future everyday eyeshadows. Including both micro-shimmer and matte shades, these eyeshadows are designed to be flattering to every skin tone.

3. Bobbi Brown – Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow Stick

Ever tried doing your makeup on the train or in the car? This Sephora best-selling eyeshadow comes in a stick formula, providing an easy application on the go. With 16 shades to choose from, lovers of both matte and shimmer finish eyeshadows will be happy. And to top it all off, the budge-proof formula ensures it stays put for 8 hours.

Shop: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow Stick, $30

4. Huda Beauty – Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette

As we’ve come to expect from the insanely cult-like makeup artist-developed brand, Huda Beauty, this eyeshadow palette features extreme pigments and intense colors that won’t fade or crease. It includes clay mattes, pearly pinks and ‘3D metal’ glitters that are blindingly bright and oh-so-pretty. This is a collection for the days when your eyes are the statement accessory.

Best Sephora Mascaras of All Time

Left to Right: Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara, $27. Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara, $27. Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara, $27.

1. Too Faced – Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara

I think this beauty staple isn’t just the best Sephora mascara, but also the best mascara of all time—at least in my books, that is! The formulation lengthens, volumizes and curls your lashes (no more having to choose just one!) and it’s also completely vegan. It comes in an intense black shade to ensure your eyes walk into the room before you do.

Shop: Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara, $27

2. Benefit – They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara

For long-lasting curl, volume and length, you can’t go past this Sephora best-selling mascara. “Looks like I’m wearing false lashes,” said one reviewer, although we note that this formulation might be a bit too heavy for someone with thin lashes.

3. Lancôme – Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara

It’s clear why this one made the list of best mascaras at Sephora—the long-lasting formula stays put for up to 24 hours, the brush bristles grab onto every single eyelash (even the baby ones) and the lightweight gel formula feels like you’re barely wearing anything at all on your lashes. Oh, and the tube it comes in is beautiful.

Shop: Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara, $27

Best Sephora Lipsticks of All Time

Left to Right: YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick Balm, $38. Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick, $15. NARS Audacious Lipstick, $34.

1. YSL – Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick Balm

This medium-coverage, super hydrating lipstick takes out the prize for best Sephora lipstick thanks to its conditioning and moisturizing formula. It comes in 25 shades, so there’s something to suit everyone. A word of warning—if you like your lipsticks matte, this isn’t the one for you.

2. Sephora Collection – Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick

This is not only the best matte lipstick at Sephora, it’s also one of the most affordable Sephora lipsticks. Available in more than 70 shades, you’d be silly not to buy a few to stash away in your purse, your glove box, and your office desk. The formula is long-wearing and feels completely weightless.

3. NARS – Audacious Lipstick

High-impact color in a weightless, smooth-to-apply formulation. The formula is non-drying and it stays put—no feathering or smudging here. Available in 11 shades ranging from deep reds and purples, through to your staple neutrals, this is a must-have Sephora lipstick for everyone’s make-up bag.

What’s the Best Sephora Foundation?

From left to right: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation, $38. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, $40. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation, $46. IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+, $42.

1. Fenty Beauty – Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation

Great for oily, normal and combination skin, this one makes the best Sephora foundation list because it’s an awesome full-coverage, long-wearing formula, and because it has more than 49 shades—so you don’t have to compromise on finding one that suits you perfectly.

2. Too Faced – Born This Way Foundation

This oil-free and vegan formula provides medium coverage and a natural finish, while still keeping you hydrated.  Infused with coconut water to replenish your skin’s moisture levels, alpine rose to support skin health and—cult skincare favorite—hyaluronic acid to give you a smoother appearance.

Shop: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, $40

3. Estee Lauder – Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation

If your skin (like mine) tends to soak up your foundation pretty quickly, this is the best foundation from Sephora for you. Its oil-free formula promises to stay put for 24 hours and gives you a flawless, natural, matte finish. I usually shy away from long-wearing foundations, as I prefer lighter coverage, but this foundation gives you buildable coverage.

Shop: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation, $46

4. IT Cosmetics – CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

Though technically this one isn’t a foundation, it’s a full-coverage CC cream, which means that you can definitely wear it as a foundation. It works to color correct while delivering a natural finish, with an added hit of SPF 50 to protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. It gets bonus points from us for using a physical mineral sunscreen rather than chemicals.

Best Sephora Skincare Products

Clockwise from top-left: IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream, $49.50. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, $38. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, $49. Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer, $68. Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer, $69.

1. IT Cosmetics – Confidence in a Cream

It’s hard to believe a moisturizer when it claims to be good for ‘all skin types, but this face cream has the research to back it up. IT Cosmetics is known for makeup that’s actually beneficial to your skin, and their skincare range is no flop. The line’s hero product, Confidence In A Cream, is easily one of the best skincare products at Sephora. It was developed alongside plastic surgeons and dermatologists to create a face cream with ultra-hydration, quick absorption, and anti-aging properties.

Shop: IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream, $49.50

2. First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream

Sticking with the theme of Sephora’s best skin care products that are suitable for everyone, this whipped-cream-texture body butter is the ideal all-over moisturizer for the whole fam, including toddlers and bubs, thanks to its sensitive skin-friendly formulation. With oatmeal and shea butter, this is a drink for thirsty skin that won’t leave you feeling greasy afterward.

Shop: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, $38

3. Summer Fridays – Jet Lag Mask

This is one of my all-time favorite skincare products. It serves many uses—as a primer, as an overnight mask, and sometimes even as a moisturizer on a cold, dry day. Formulated with Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Glycerin, this top Sephora skincare pick will hydrate and plump your skin, and make you look like you had a great night’s sleep, even if you didn’t.

Shop: Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, $49

4. Drunk Elephant – Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer

This moisturizer made our list of best Sephora skincare products because it gets consistently great reviews all the time. Perfect if you’re looking for an anti-aging cream that brightens your skin, evens out the texture, and keeps your skin hydrated all day. It contains nine signal peptides (made up of amino acids, which form proteins in the skin). These peptides bind moisture to skin—visibly plumping, firming, and restoring bounce. Yes, please!

Shop: Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer, $68

5. Tatcha – The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer

If the other creams in this list have all been a bit too heavy for your skin (I’m looking at you, oily and combination skin types), you can’t look past this oil-free moisturizer from Tatcha. It’s light and hydrating, without making you shinier or oilier than before. Japanese leopard lily helps control excess oil and purify skin by supporting natural skin turnover, and an anti-aging trinity of green tea, rice, and algae restores healthy-looking radiance. If you like your skincare a little bit extra, you’ll be delighted to know that it also uses tiny specks of 23-karat gold to add shimmer.

6. Caudalie Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist

Perfect for the girl with a glass of red wine in her hand on a Friday night. Caudalie is a vineyard-inspired skincare brand from Bordeaux, France – it just doesn’t get more delicious and romantic than that. Grape water is a fave among celebrities like Katy Perry, who swear by the organic product for its ability to soothe, calm, and hydrate red, dry, and sensitive skin after a couple of sprays. Yeah, it’s basically witchcraft in a bottle.

Best Perfumes at Sephora

From left to right: YSL – Black Opium Eau de Parfum, $130. Viktor & Rolf – Flowerbomb, $168. Juliette Has a Gun – Not a Perfume, $135.

1. YSL – Black Opium Eau de Parfum

You had us at coffee and vanilla. This fragrance is seductive and edgy, with a bold coffee scent, paired with vanilla and feminine floral tones. With more than 6,000 reviews, this is hands-down the top-selling perfume at Sephora.

Shop: YSL Black Opium Eau de Parfum, $130 for 90mL (3oz)

2. Viktor & Rolf – Flowerbomb

This is an iconic fragrance that brings back memories from 2010 every time I catch a whiff of it on someone. There’s a reason this one is a classic—and a reason it made our list of the best perfumes at Sephora. It’s warm and spicy, feminine and floral, and even though it’s been around for many years, it’s not going out of style anytime soon.

3. Juliette Has a Gun – Not a Perfume

I’m a huge fan of the entire Juliette Has a Gun range (if you’re like me and can’t decide, try their mini discovery set) because they’re all subtle and unique, with an edge to them. Not a Perfume is exactly what it says on the label: Not a perfume. It’s made from Cetalox, which is typically used as a base note in perfumes, but here’s it’s the main star. It’s hypoallergenic, so perfect for those who are usually sensitive to fragrances, and it’s deliciously light and fresh.

Shop: Juliette Has a Gun – Not a Perfume, $135 for 100mL (3.3oz)

Best Sephora Hair Products

From left to right: Olaplex – No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector, $56. K18 – Mini Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask, $29. Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protective Prime, $29. Living Proof – Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, $39.

1. Olaplex – No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector

Are you surprised to see Olaplex on the list of best Sephora hair products? I’m not. Back when I thought blonde was a good look on my naturally dark brown locks, this hair treatment kept my poor, bleach-damaged tresses looking shiny and healthy. It’s not just for blondes though—this is a must-have product for anyone with colored or damaged hair.

Shop: Olaplex – No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector, $56

2. K18 – Mini Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask

When my hairdresser says a hair product is good, I know it’s one I have to try. This is the perfect silicone-free treatment mask that reverses damage in as little as four minutes. The formula is vegan, and it’s suitable for all hair types, including colored hair.

Shop: K18 – Mini Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask, $29

3. Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protective Prime

This spritz-on leave-in hair treatment detangles, protects your hair against UV and heat styling, and conditions your hair to leave it feeling soft. It’s blended with six featherlight oils (including Coconut Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, and Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil), it’s safe for color-treated hair and it’s free of any nasty ingredients.

Shop: Bumble and bumble – Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protective Prime, $29

4. Living Proof – Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

This magic hair product has arguably the most superior formula around when it comes to dry shampoos. And unlike its competitors, this product doesn’t just cover up the oils, it actually cleans your hair for you, removing dirt, oils, and odor, leaving you with hair that looks (and smells) like it was just shampooed.

Shop: Living Proof – Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, $39

Other Sephora best sellers

1. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

It’s been how long since we’ve been trying to nail the perfect cat eye? Embarrassing. But at least this liquid eyeliner promises those curved lines will be easier to achieve. The fine felt tip is guaranteed not to fray over time, but remain flexible and forgiving when you glide it flawlessly across your lids. Once it’s on, it won’t budge thanks to the waterproof formula.

Shop: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, $23

2. Beautyblender Original Pink

Who knew a sponge could make such an impact on the makeup world? Beautyblender is still relatively young, but it’s made a big name for itself as the all-round wonder makeup applicator. It’s a sponge that’s streak-free and doesn’t sop up all of your makeup; but the real bonus is the fact it can be used with all face products including primers, blushes, powders, and obviously foundation. And thanks to its tapered tip, it gets into all those hard-to-reach places – like around the nose and in the corners of your under-eyes – super easily. Just make sure you don’t make these Beautyblender mistakes when you use it.

Shop: Beautyblender Original Pink, $20

3. Sephora Collection Green Tea Face Mask

For a reasonably priced mask with actual active ingredients, Sephora Collection is a go-to. Each mask is made of lyocell, so it hugs the contours of the face to treat every inch. Green tea is a known herbal ingredient for minimizing breakouts, making this a must-have around that time of the month when your skin goes on strike.

Shop: Sephora Collection Green Tea Face Mask, $5.50
