So Women Want More Sex And Men Prefer To Cuddle?

A new survey has found that the age-old cliche about men wanting sex all the time and women preferring a cuddle isn’t even true!

The survey by the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University profiled couples around the world who were together for an average of 25 years. What they found goes against everything we thought about traditional stereotypes.

It found that men are happier when they frequently kiss and snuggle up to their partners, while women reported that being affectionate had little impact on their happiness.

Another surprising find was that sexual satisfaction is hugely important to women in long-term relationships of more than 15 years.

Julia Heiman, director of The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction and lead author of the article, said: “Possibly, women become more satisfied over time because their expectations change, or life changes with the children grown.

Providing a possible clue to why so many marriages end in divorce, Heiman suggested women “who weren’t so happy sexually might not be married so long.”

What do you think? Do you find your partner is happier to cuddle these days than you are?
