Starring: Fashion line with a conscience

August 24, 2009

We love when we get to combine to of our greatest passions – fashion and charity. There’s something so feel-good about buying a cool top and knowing you’re helping someone else too. So let’s have a bug round of applause for Starring.

Up and coming Perth based fashion designer, Pauline Ho, has just unveiled her latest collection for Summer 2009/10 under her label, Starring. The new women’s line offers the latest quality fashion trends without the hefty price tag.

This season’s look has been inspired by elements of rock, art, life and travel. Garment designs range from edgy, quirky to being fashion forward yet provide flexibility to be worn from day to night.

Included in the latest collection are casual t-shirts, flashy singlets, dresses, and a variety of skirts and shorts of all styles. All of the clothes can easily be dressed up or down leaving room for your own personal twist to be added.

After working for a number of high profile fashion companies over the years it is clear that Pauline is no stranger to the fashion world. With the support from her family and friends she has finally created a name for her self through Starring, which made its debut last winter.

But here’s the best bit. All of the proceeds from each Starring purchase will go towards the Mpumaleo Day Care Centre/Orphanage in South Africa.
