How To Style A Statement Playsuit

Since we are in the middle of a hot summer, it’s almost impossible to wear a stylish outfit which won’t make you sweat.

Playsuits are an effortless summer alternative which require little or no accessories to look and feel good! We show you how to style a few of our favourites for this summer, and just where to get them.

Sandals

Any type of flat sandals look amazing when paired with an easy, summer playsuit. Make sure the sandals are quite simple if your playsuit is the main focus of the entire outfit. Some favourites include t-bar sandals, gladiators, basic one-strap sandals as well.

Denim jacket

If you’re heading to a casual night-time event, bring along a denim jacket in case the weather drops. Throw it over your shoulders, or wear it around your waist to add some texture to the outfit. Classic blue is always on trend, but you can always get your hands on some acid-wash if you’re channeling that 80’s look.

Clutch

An envelope clutch is a summer essential for storing all of your necessities on a day or night out. Choose from a variety of different colours and fabrics to best match your outfit. A detachable strap is a great option to use if you want to carry your bag in a few different ways.

Fedora

Heading out to a festival is not complete without a wide-brim fedora hat. Not only will it protect your face, neck, shoulders, but it also is completely on trend this season!

Belt

If your playsuit is a bit too big for your frame, cinch it at the waist with a leather belt. This will give your look some structure, and sculpt your waist without feeling too uncomfortable either. Choose black, grey, and brown belts since they match almost anything, and can be worn with many different outfits.

Kimono

A kimono adds the finishing touches to an outfit which is inspired by the boho-chic trends of the 1970s. It won’t have you feeling too hot or cold, and can be stored in your bag at the end of the evening.
