The sweet liqueur combines herbs, roots, an orange peel and rhubarb texture, which is undeniably the taste of summer. If you’re planning to pick up a bottle this weekend, try these Aperol cocktails which won’t disappoint.

Aperol spritz

Ingredients: prosecco, club soda, Aperol, orange peel

We couldn’t start off this cocktail list with none other than the classic aperol spritz. The standard Italian drink is so easy to prepare and is a match made in heaven with a cheeseboard and olives.


Italian greyhound with rosemary

Ingredients: rosemary, sugar, gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice

For a rosemary infused cocktail, try the classic Italian greyhound, which tastes amazing on a hot and humid day. Don’t forget to rim the glass with rosemary and sugar for extra flavour.

Ingredients: Bourbon, peach preserves, lemon juice, Aperol, sweet tea, thyme
