Long bob

Try a long bob, which perfectly frames all face shapes. Emma Stone is the ultimate candidate for this style since it flatters her face and the colour is just right!

Short layers

Shorter layers that fall against the chin are perfect for framing a heart-shaped face. A few highlights is another way to make this look work for longer hair, as seen below on Aishwarya Rai.

Shaggy bob

If your hair is curly and textured, a shaggy bob is the perfect hairstyle. Don’t go for a blunt cut which can look a little harsh on thicker hair.

Wispy bangs

Bangs are a fantastic hair trend that is always in style and looks amazing with lighter hair colours. Make sure your fringe hits the area between your eyebrows and eyelashes, anything shorter won’t look too flattering.

Beachy waves

Sun-kissed waves are so easy to achieve, especially if your hair has a hint of existing ombré. This look is so flattering on all skin tones and is easily replicated with sea-salt spray and a good curling wand.

Celebrity Trend: Gender-Neutral Baby Names

Celebs are infamous for giving their kids some, er, creative names. Just as the world was recovering from Apple (of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin) and Suri (Cruise… duh), along came Blue Ivy Carter and North West.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are the latest celebs to welcome a beautiful daughter – Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher. Wyatt is the latest in a trend of unisex, or gender-neutral, baby names.

RELATED: Celebrity Baby Names

Earlier this year, Drew Barrymore gave birth to a girl named Frankie. (It should be noted that Frankie’s mom is also the owner of a gender-neutral name!) I don’t know about you, but when I think Frankie, I immediately think Valli.

Harper has also been a popular name in recent years, used by the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, David and Victoria Beckham, and Bill Hader. The name is popular as a girl’s name, like To Kill A Mockingbird author, Harper Lee, but can also be worn by a boy, for example, Paul Simon’s son.

This year, Kelly Clarkson gave birth to a daughter she called River – a name more famously given to men (i.e. River Phoenix). Speaking of Kelly, we know a surfer (hint: surname Slater) who also goes by this common girl’s name.

Bowie is an oddly popular choice in 2014, as the middle name of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s son, Apollo Bowie, and designer Rebecca Minkoff’s daughter, Bowie Lou. We can only assume it is derived from the surname of everyone’s favorite androgynous pop god, David Bowie.

What are you favorite unisex names?

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are Engaged!

Hollywood’s cutest couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are engaged!

After months of speculation, Kunis, 30, stepped out wearing a huge engagement ring while shopping with her mother late last week.

The couple have remained silent on the issue, but Kunis posted a photo of the pair smiling on Instagram on Wednesday, and hid her hands on a dog walk with Kutcher this weekend.

Kunis and Kutcher 36, started dating in April 2012 after his split from ex-wife Demi Moore, 51. They met on the set of  That ’70s Show.

Kutcher and Moore married in September 2005 and split in 2011. Kutcher filed for divorce in 2012 which was finalised in November 2013.

The divorce was prolonged as Moore sought spousal support and legal fees and were at odds over how to divide their estimated fortune of more than $US300 million ($335 million).

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Get the Look: Mila Kunis’ Golden Globes Hair

Mila Kunis paired her sparkly Gucci pewter dress with a sleek and elegant chignon at the Golden Globes 2014, an easy hair up style when your dress is the main attraction. Here’s how celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora created the look in a few easy steps.

1. Renato worked L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Extraordinary Oil for All Hair Types through damp hair from the roots to the ends.

2. Using a large boar bristle round brush, he blow dried the hair away from her face, smoothing the ends.

3. Working section by section, he then applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Sleek It Iron Straight Heatspray before flat ironing Mila’s hair, blow drying back to control the top and sides.

4. Lightly spraying L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray (one of our favourite all-purpose hairsprays), he secured the hair in a low ponytail at the nape of the neck.

5. Renato then applied lace around the ponytail and back of the head and secured with pins.

6. Finally, he twisted hair into a smooth bun, securing with French pins.

Mila Kunis’ Chic Messy Ponytail Hairstyle

One of our all-time favourite hair up styles is Mila Kunis’ chic messy ponytail, so we asked Schwarzkopf’s National Technical Educator Grant Withnell to show us how to recreate the look at home!

1. Apply a small amount of mousse to the hair and blow dry using a large round brush.

2. Back comb the crown area of the hair to create volume here only.

3. Pull hair loosely back into a ponytail keeping volume at the crown and smooth at the front– secure with a hair tie.

4. Apply a heat protector and taking large sections and using a large curling create the waves.

5. Use a powder such as Schwarzkopf Extra Care Volume Powder to add texture and unstructure the waves.

6. Apply a lacquer for hold.
