Ingredients: frozen fruit, pineapple juice, lemonade, raspberries, strawberries, pineapple, raspberry rainbow sherbert or frozen fruits.

This is the non-alcoholic punch of the bunch and is perfect for the kids! Don’t mix it all together until the party is starting, however, as the ice-cream will melt.

Ingredients: ice pops (a pack of 30), ice, vodka

Empty each layer of ice pops according to colour, add the vodka, then load it up with ice to keep cool.

Ingredients: moscato wine, frozen limeade, strawberries, lime, lemonade

Combine the wine, frozen limeade and lemonade into a large jug or bowl. Slice the limes and strawberries to serve.

Ingredients: Bacardi, lime juice, lemon juice, pineapple juice, simple syrup, water, grenadine

Combine all of the ingredients into a large bowl filled with ice. Slice the lemons before serving to your guests.

Ingredients: pineapple juice, orange juice, dark rum, coconut rum, grenadine, lime

Pour the pineapple, orange juice and rum into a jug filled with ice. Stir until combined, then garnish with grenadine and lime.

TGIF: Hot Gin Punch Recipe

Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean that you have to skip on the entertaining, so keep warm this winter and enjoy a night in with friends with this hot gin punch recipe! Containing chamomile tea, autumn fruits and spices, and good quality gin, it takes less than 10 minutes to create and comes to you just in time for World Gin Day on June 13.

Serves 12

Ingredients

1L dry white wine

350ml Hendrick’s Gin

250ml chamomile tea

½ pineapple chopped

200g caster sugar

3 cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

4 orange peels

1 tsp of white pepper

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and warm on medium heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and punch fragrant.
  2. Remove from heat and pour into a large punch bowl.
  3. Serve straight into teacups or plastic cups – no ice.
  4. Garnish with orange slice and pineapple slice.
