How can she even walk in these?!
This show is everything that’s wrong with the world.
If you’ve ever envied the VS Angels, you won’t after reading this.
My well-endowed ‘assets’ attract negative attention.

Doesn’t everyone wish they had the body of a Victoria’s Secret model? Well now you can, with these easy workout tips which will surely motivate you to get moving!
Combined with healthy eating and regular physical activity, you can shed the Christmas weight before the new year!
Stand with your feet hip-length apart and take a step sideways. Bend your knee at a 90º angle, and repeat on the other side. Use a dumbbell to increase your stamina, and give your arms a workout as well.
Outer thigh lift
Use an exercise ball, and shift your weight over to one side. This exercise works the lateral muscles, and tones the entire upper-thigh. Make sure your legs are aligned, (one should be extended, the other bent). Keep the abs and legs tight as you elevate them.
Who knew a simple crunch exercise would be so effective? Lie down flat on your back, and keep your knees bent at the middle. Position your hands behind your head (for extra stability and without putting pressure on the neck). Then simply crunch upwards before releasing back down onto a flat back.
Lie down flat on your back, and elevate your legs upwards. Keep them pressed together for extra stability, and rest your hands on the abdominal muscles. Lower the legs halfway, then slowly pull upwards without curving the back.
Sit back into a chair position, making sure your legs are slightly bent. Relax your arms, and slowly twist from side to side.

Victoria’s Secret beauty Izabel Goulart is know for her extensive work as a model in her native Brazil, but also for her flawless skin and hair.
This week we’re recreating a super-easy slicked back ponytail which is perfect if you’re on-the-go. Use a few of our holy grail products to achieve this easy look in under 5 minutes.
1. Brush dry hair backwards and away from the face, while using a shine serum to create a subtle glow in the roots. To create extra volume, section some hair from the back of your ears, and back-comb for a boost on your roots.
Garnier Fructis Miraculous Oil, $8.37
2. If your hair is quite fine, use this easy trick to create the illusion of longer, thicker locks. Create a low ponytail with the bottom layer of your hair, and tie with a thin elastic.
Then do the same with the top layer. Spritz the ends of your hair with a volumising powder if you want it to be big and bouncy, or use an oil to make it straight and sleek – your choice!
Schwarzkopt Extra Care Instant Volume Powder, $8.99
3. If you have a natural middle part to your hair, keep this and carefully comb hair back and secure with an elastic. Use a setting spray over the top for extra hold, and fix any bumps with bobby pins which match the shade of your hair.
Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play, $24.95

We have less than a week to go before the biggest runway event of the year – the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. This landmark event has been running since 1995 and has transcended a mere catwalk show. With performances from the biggest pop acts in the world, and the industry’s biggest supermodel names, there is no doubt why the Victoria’s Secret special is the only fashion show to be broadcast internationally on mainstream tv networks. The show will be aired on Tuesday, December 9 on CBS, and here is everything you need to know in the lead up to the big night.
1. The Angels
To be granted your Victoria’s Secret “wings” is the modelling equivalent of winning an Oscar. These ladies are at the top of the beauty game, only to be exceeded by retired Angels, such as Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr. The line-up this year includes: Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson.
2. Their Instagram Accounts
Follow your favorite model on Instagram for the biggest scoop. Start with the Victoria’s Secret account (@victoriassecret), and try resident photographer Jerome Duran (@jeromeduran) for bonus snaps. To get in on the action, use the official hashtag #VSFashionShow.

3. The Fantasy Bra
Among the big news this year is that there will be TWO Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bras. For the first time, Brazilian duo Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosia will be filling out the bras, which are valued at $2 million each! The most expensive lingerie sets in the world are encrusted with thousands of amethysts, topaz, diamonds, sapphires, garnets and 18k gold… essentially enough bling to enrich a small country.
4. The other models
According to the casting agents, the recipe for VS models is personality, proportions (well, duh), glowing skin and a killer smile. There are rumored to be 44 models hitting the catwalk in this year’s show. Keep an eye on the fresh faces of 2014 because this year’s newcomers might be the next Gisele. Victoria’s Secret posts a casting video each year, take a look at this year’s competition.
5. The Music
This year Taylor Swift (who also performed at last year’s show), Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier will be taking the stage (runway?) to provide the strut-worthy soundtrack.
6. Cara Delevingne And Kendall Jenner Will NOT Be Walking
I repeat, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner will not be walking. For those who passionately follow VS news, this might be a big deal since these have been two of VS’ most famous faces in the past. This year, Delevingne and Jenner passed up the gig in favor of their old pal Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel. It’s tough being a model, right?

Besides being one of the most successful Victoria’s Secret models, Behati Prinsloo is renowned for her funky and off-beat sense of style, and natural depiction of beauty. The Namibian supermodel has a signature fresh makeup look which includes glowing, radiant skin coupled with chiseled cheekbones and natural brows.
Recreate one of her signature makeup looks with just a few essential products which are all under $50!
Start with the eyes if you’re using darker shades to avoid fall-out on the rest of the face. Carefully prime the eyes with a matte eye primer – this will allow your makeup to last the distance without rubbing off from sweat or natural oils.
Models Prefer Eye Primer, $13.99
Then use a light nude and press it gently across the entire eye. Take a darker colour on a fluffy brush, and concentrate the product on the outer corner of the eyes. Make sure to blend this out seamlessly so you don’t see any harsh lines.
Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette, $45.60
To finish up the eyeshadow, use a metallic to cover the rest of the eye leading into the inner corner, this will really make your eyes pop!
Essence Mono Eyeshadow, $1.42
Curl your lashes as usual, and apply a mascara from root to tip. This is essential in creating a natural makeup look and will avoid clumpy lashes.
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, $29
Clinique High Impact Mascara, $38
Moisturise the skin and apply a tiny bit of foundation onto the forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. Blend with a stippling brush to achieve a flawless finish.Push the product into problem areas such as bumps or acne scarring to make skin look airbrushed.
Burt’s Bees Radiance Day Creme with Royal Jelly, $39.95
Set your makeup with a translucent setting powder and dab softly under the eyes, on the chin, and also the sides of the nose. These places are notorious for producing a lot of oil, and a setting powder will let them remain matte for as long as possible.
Jurlique Finishing Powder, $45
Bring some definition to the face by lightly contouring the cheekbones. Suck in your cheeks, and apply bronzer underneath the line of contour. Blend it out into the hairline until the contour looks seamless and natural.
The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer, $27.95
Apply a light blush over the top of your cheeks, and stick to a neutral pink which suits every skin tone. A liquid blush is also a good idea for the summer since it’s easy to apply, and will bring a subtle pink glow to any skin tone.
Becca Beach Tint, $42
To finish the entire look, apply a highlighting creme over places where the sun would naturally hit your face: over the cheekbones, lightly on the brow bone, on the temples of your forehead, and on the cupid’s bow (just above your lips). Lightly dab with your finger or a small foundation brush for a flawless application.
Revlon Highlight Palette, $26.95
For the lips you can keep the look neutral by applying a clear gloss, or staying within the shade of a nude or muted pink.
Napoleon Perdis Lip Lacquer, $23
Use a lip liner if you have a little more time to be precise with your application, but a tinted gloss works just as well, and doesn’t require too much maintenance throughout the day.
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balm, $35

Have you always wanted the body of a Victoria’s Secret Angel, but never knew how to achieve it? The Angels are all known for their drop-dead gorgeous looks, but also their amazingly toned physiques which some might say were crafted by the gods themselves!
We share with you just a few workouts which are used by some of the Angels themselves, to create their much sought after physiques.
Angel: Behati Prinsloo
The Namibian native and VS Angel has been known to take part in swimming and water sports to maintain her naturally slender physique. Paddle boarding, surfing and swimming laps are just some of the ways she chooses to tone her body, apart from a few pilates classes throughout the week.
Angel: Miranda Kerr
With a workout routine mainly consisting of ballet and pilates, there’s no reason Miranda Kerr has an incredible body! Even though she’s usually working on a tight schedule, she regularly attends Ballet Beautiful classes in New York City, and follows the Blood Type Diet in order to stay healthy and keep at a consistent weight.
Angel: Candice Swanepoel
Not only does Candice Swanepoel love to box on a regular basis, but she also enjoys barre lessons which help to keep her entire body toned. The South African native also takes part in resistance training up to three times a week, which allows her diet to be a little more indulgent than the other angels.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Angel: Erin Heatherton
Rather than focusing on a particular part of her body to work on, Erin Heatherton takes part in HIIT which keeps the entire body toned and lean. While weight resistance one of her favourite workout routines, she does take part in pilates, yoga and running to keep fit and healthy.
Angel: Adriana Lima
After the birth of her second child, Adriana Lima enlisted the help of a trainer to help get her pre-baby body back. Her workout routine is similar to the other angels, and mostly consists of pilates and boxing training.

Forbes has released their annual list of the highest earning supermodels, can you guess who has topped the list?
1. Gisele Bundchen – $47 million
Earning more than five times the figure of other supermodels on the list, it is not surprise that Gisele has topped the list for eight years in a row! Over the past year Gisele has fronted campaigns for H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Pantene, and Oral-B, and also has her own footwear and lingerie lines.
2. Doutzen Kroes – $8 million
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is also the face of L’Oreal cosmetics, and has a line of cashmere sweaters. On top of earning $8 million last year, she also gave birth to her second child.
3. Adriana Lima – $8 million
Adriana is the longest-running Victoria’s Secret Angel, and no stranger to the rich list. Other endorsements include Desigual, Maybelline and Veet hair removal cream.
4. Kate Moss – $7 million
The veteran supermodel and pioneer of the waif-thin body type, 40-year-old Moss continues to front Rimmel London cosmetics and collaborate with Topshop. While her yearly earnings may total $7 million, we all know Kate’s total worth is more likely quadruple this figure.
5. Kate Upton – $7 million
At just 22, curvy Kate has featured on a record number of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers, and more recently signed to Bobbi Brown cosmetics. You may have also caught her alongside Cameron Diaz in her film debut, The Other Woman. This is Upton’s first year (first of many, we predict) on the list.
6. Miranda Kerr – $7 million
Since terminating her Victoria’s Secret contract and splitting from her husband Orlando Bloom, Kerr continues to bring in the bucks as the face of several brands including, H&M, Reebok, and Mango. Kerr also has her own beauty line, Kora Organics.
7. Liu Wen – $7 million
Wen was the first Chinese woman to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway, but also makes a lucrative sum from Estee Lauder, H&M, Calvin Klein, Coach and La Perla.
8. Alessandra Ambrosio – $5 million
Victoria’s Secret and H&M continue to make millionaire’s out of their models, with Ambrosio next on the list. At the age of 33, she also has two children and her own clothing line.
9. Hilary Rhoda – $5 million
Rhoda’s fortune is mostly due to a lucrative eight-year deal with Estee Lauder, but this American has also been involved with Toteme, Sarar, Helmut Lang, and… Victoria’s Secret.
10. Natalia Vodianova – $4 million
You may recognise this Russian beauty as the face of Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume, a role she has held since 2006. She has four children and will also appear in the infamous Pirelli Calendar in 2015, alongside fellow rich list member, Adriana Lima.
