Crazy New Makeup Trend: Clown Contouring

Another new makeup trend has been spotted on YouTube over the month of July, and it’s called clown contouring. One of the first YouTubers to come out with a tutorial was BellaDeLune also known as Esther Isabel Amado Romo who shows just how effective this technique can be. What makes it stand out from other makeup trends are the pink and red shades around the eyes and mouth.

These lighter shades are actually used to colour correct dark patches of skin (such as chronic under-eye circles), and create a consistent colour around the mouth and eyes. If you’re daring enough to try this yourself at home, take a picture and tag your before and after shots @shesaid on Instagram!
