TGIF: Hot Gin Punch Recipe

Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean that you have to skip on the entertaining, so keep warm this winter and enjoy a night in with friends with this hot gin punch recipe! Containing chamomile tea, autumn fruits and spices, and good quality gin, it takes less than 10 minutes to create and comes to you just in time for World Gin Day on June 13.

Serves 12
Ingredients
1L dry white wine
350ml Hendrick’s Gin
250ml chamomile tea
½ pineapple chopped
200g caster sugar
3 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
4 orange peels
1 tsp of white pepper
Method
- Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and warm on medium heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and punch fragrant.
- Remove from heat and pour into a large punch bowl.
- Serve straight into teacups or plastic cups – no ice.
- Garnish with orange slice and pineapple slice.
