The Good Friday Appeal

March 23, 2010

Move over Marc Jacobs. Some of Australia’s favourite stars are getting their designer digs dirty for a good cause. See how you can get involved!

Cricket star Brett Lee, Jimmy Barnes, “The 7pm Project’s” Carrie Bickmore, “Masterchef’s” George Colombaris, Arabella Ramsay, Seafolly, Yeojin Bae, Mimco and more have got together to design a range of baby singlets for charity.

Marquise Babywear invited all participants to create their very own unique, customised design white baby singlet to be auctioned off online to help raise funds for the 2010 Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Last year the Good Friday Appeal raised a total of $13,862,734.00 for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Each year, the online auction raises over $100,000. All items are donated and 100% of the money goes to the kids.

This year the auction will go live on Monday, 22nd March and end at 6:00pm Friday, 2nd April. To find out more about the Good Friday Appeal or to make a bid, please visit the website, www.goodfridayappeal.com.au
