Wedding Hairstyles Using Flowers

August 29, 2014

Create a fun and flirty spring wedding-look by accessorising your hair with some natural blooms. For her wedding to rocker Jamie Hince, Kate Moss had her bridesmaids and flowers girls wearing flower wreaths which perfectly complemented their outfits. Below are just a few ways to accessorise your hair for the big day!

Messy up-do

If you want a twist to a classic bun, accessorise your hair with a few natural flowers for your wedding day. In this case, flowers are pinned into the bun on the right side to give drama to the entire look.

Natural curls

Go for the simplistic look and style your hair down with some textured curls, which frame the face beautifully. To add some flowers to this look, take a few strands of hair from one side, twist and secure just above the ear with a pin. Then over the top, pin the tiny flowers you wish to use. The bride in this scenario has matched her hair accessories to the grooms boutonnière, very cute!

For a chignon hairstyle, you can’t go past a few flowers which will make you look and feel like you’ve stepped out of a Jane Austen novel! Tuck a few of your favourite flowers into the top of the bun, and secure with bobby pins to conceal any tracks. Baby’s breath is perfect since it will stay in place, and can last for hours.
